Young And In Love

This is the love of my life, Joshua. To begin, we met on a cruise April 7th, 2009 and spent the next several days together. He lives near Los Angeles, and I live in the Bay Area. We texted non stop after the cruise and even though we didn’t know when we would see eachother again, we decided to start a relationship. No one ever understood our relationship. We were both harassed by friends, parents, siblings, etc. but we ignored it. We finally saw eachother August 4th, 2010 when we planned a trip to Magic Mountain. Since August, we’ve seen eachother a couple more times and we are seeing eachother in 3 weeks, for 2 weekends. I would never ever trade him for someone here. In my opinion, long distance relationships are the happiest and most real ones out there. And I will honestly say that I believe me and him are the two happiest people in the whole world. Even though I’m 15 and a sophomore, and he’s 17 and graduating this year, we both know that we want to be together for the rest of our lives. He gave me a promise ring that reads “Together Forever” and plans to propose to me the day I turn 18. That’s true love. I love him with all of my heart and I will forever <3

i don’t regret this. it was fun, we just weren’t right for eachother.

1 year, 7 months, and 10 days ago this boy right here asked me to be his girlfriend while we were breaking into the local golf course. I felt sick and wanted to go home and I said yes. I had been trying for about 8 months to get him to admit he liked me as more than a friend but he just wouldn’t. We have broken up a few times, said we’re gonna go back to just friends for a bit, you know maybe try things out in the future BUT we always come back to each other, it never lasts. We’re each other’s best friend. He knows everything about me and I know everything about him. I can’t wait for the day that we can get our own apartment and really honestly start a life together. When we’re alone we act so goofy and hardly anything is serious to us. What makes him special is how he makes me a better me. Also that my dad approves of him. We have been friends since we were little kids But than this summer something changed. He went from being someone I would make fun to someone I made sure I looked pretty around. This knew strange feeling was mutual, we started to “like like one another” and it scared the shit out of us both. We didn’t want to risk our friendship, afraid of ruining what we had qe became hook up buddies. No feelings involved. The first time we kissed, all i could think was wow. This makes so much sense. You have been here all along. I just didn’t realize it. So we wasted about 6 months being stupid caring about each other, but not ready to move to the next step. Than FINALLY after many fights, arguments, tears, and confused feelings&thoughts. We started to date Making promises not to let out new relationship hurt our friendship. Agreeing to be friends forever no matter what.

I always knew i loved him as a friend. 

But I never planned on falling in love with him.
